Description

That film did not paint a favorable picture of the band, which focused more on the tensions between the band members. From their small venues in Liverpool to selling out stadiums through the 1960s, this four-man rock n' roll group changed the music landscape forever. This all culminates in their final days as a band together where a few cameras and mics are turned on to record these four musical geniuses making the magic that is their last album. Also included is The Beatles' last live performance as a group, which took place on the roof of Apple Corps headquarters on Savile Row. A parte questo dettaglio, la presenza integrale del leggendario ‘Rooftop concert’, rende l’acquisto di questo cofanetto imprescindibile per ogni collezionista dei Beatles che si rispetti.

This is an option I didn’t think I’d enjoy but I must say it’s pretty darn cool (see photos of this screen below). The “Get Back: The Rooftop Concert” features not only the complete 1969 Beatles rooftop concert without any of the man on the street footage (just The Beatles) but it also features the IMAX version of the “Get Back”rooftop concert as it was shown in theaters earlier this year.We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. I admired the fabulous restoration work, and it was fascinating history of course, but it took me FOREVER to get through all the installments.

Just yesterday a coworker (~50) said "The Beatles are over rated" (we were discussing the new Elvis movie and whether or not it was anything younger people would bother seeing). This set has certainly not been made widely available at least as far as I can see and the complete silence from Disney about the total cluster of this release speaks volumes. At the end of 1966, The Beatles announced they would stop touring or perform live, instead concentrating on more experimental music and films such as Magical Mystery Tour and Yellow Submarine, and taking control of their careers by creating their own multi-media company, Apple Corps.

Peter Jackson directs this documentary series which depicts the making of The Beatles' 1970 album 'Let It Be'. If you own a Blu-ray player treat yourself to the Blu-ray set as it has the best picture and sound as well as grooviest packaging. Fans and critics everywhere have celebrated the “masterpiece” (Ed Cumming, Independent), “utterly unmissable” (Alex Flood, NME) and “exhilarating” series (Neil McCormick, The Telegraph). Documentary about the music group The Beatles featuring in-studio footage that was shot in early 1969 for the 1970 feature film 'Let It Be.

And for those clamouring for 'Let It Be' to be released, I'm sure those 90 minutes are all included here. Their original songs paved the way for genres of music and inspired young people to become musicians themselves.
