You really do need to keep moving your hair around during rinsing which is difficult when it is as dry as straw: I resorted to alternating gentle scrunching with finger combing. I used colour b4 again (and only needed 1 box this time as I didn’t go over the yellow at the top) and most of the rest of the build up dropped out. Towel dry your hair very well – sometimes it helps to use kitchen roll just to blot through the ends and soak up excess water. I'll admit I didn't do a patch test(my bad) I'm very allergic to many chemicals and fragrances (as hospital tested etc) etc, happy to say this was a green light for me as a product. You mix together the Activator and the Remover and then leave it on for between 30 mins and an hour!

As for the smell, well I was expecting something much worse after reading the reviews, but I didn't find it to be anything too horrible. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to remove any colour build up or to change hair colour altogether, as it's so affordable to do yourself at home. The only ash colour I could get anywhere in my village was a light ash brown (darker than I wanted but to be fair anything was better than ginger or the ultra violet red I had previously!

My hair didn't feel great for a while after as it is a bit damaging, but a few good conditions and it was fine. hi i did it about 3 weeks ago the colours came out my hair but im left with a bad smell of eggs its really bad ive tryed everything to get the smell away its that bad my partner is sleepin on the sofa pleaze can anyone help its driving me mad? Included in the box are 4 bottles; an Activator, Remover, Buffer and conditioner, as well as a pair of plastic gloves and instructions. Ican'tbelievepeoplecomplainthatthisproduct'doesn'twork'whentheyprobablyhavenoideawhattheingredientsinthehairdyetheyhaveusedoverthemonths/yearsaredoingtotheirhair! In this situation (and to re-create your natural shade) simply select a hair colourant close to your own natural depth and tone.I kind of liked the colour tbh but felt I wanted lighter so it says I can use it again after a week so I did. After watching countless (and I mean countless) videos on YouTube of girls who have done a similar process, I decided to finally take the plunge and give it a whirl. for 2 years now but where I've grown out my chin-length bob (it's now past my shoulders), I've got loads of colour build-up on the ends.

It is possible to re colour your hair right away, but the new colour may appear darker than intended. On a previous occasion I thought I did just during the rinse/ wash/ dry process which didn't occur this time. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed reading your blog posts.
