At the last show of the tour, at Live Music Hall in Cologne on 10 November 2012, nine fans were injured after pieces of the ceiling fell down in the moshpit area. The release of the group’s third single ‘Spaceman’, which has a feature from rapper/YouTuber/streamer FiNCH, was so popular among fans, that online petitions were actually created to have the group represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest, which, sadly, in the end, the jury later denied. In April 2013 the band toured the United States for the first time alongside Kottonmouth Kings and Deuce.

and Enter Shikari, as both vocalists Kevin Ratajczak and Nico Sallach take turns to get you all hyped up for the next half hour and ensure that you’re definitely in the party mood. Mindreader’ reverts back to the age-old format of screamed verses and melodic choruses, but the choruses don’t meet the same powerful climax needed to match the heaviness of what they follow. Mindreader‘ is our first taste of unreleased material and it opens with a huge atmospheric trance/synth intro that guides us up to a heavy scream section and we’re underway.

On 8 July 2022, the band released the fourth single, "Fckboi", with the American metalcore band Conquer Divide. The band did not appear on the new date because they were touring alongside The Browning, Close to Home and Intohimo through Europe during that time.

The style of both clean vocalists (no screaming in sight) is undeniable and it even includes a vocal layer that sounds identical to the opening note of the chorus in Avril’s ‘Bite Me’.The juxtaposition of the two core genres in this song set up the expectations for the rest of the album – and as the band have stated in the past, they’re working with genres they love – with the end result proving heavy metal and techno go hand in hand in a weird and wacky way. The band started recording their second album at Kohlekeller Studios together with producer Kristian Kohlmannslehner in autumn of 2013. In “Tekkno,” a mash-up between Eurodance-inspired tunes and brutal djent-sprinkled riffs becomes the norm. Similarly, ‘Parasite’ takes their older metalcore sound but sprinkles techno and Eurobeat tropes generously to the point where they can’t be appreciated as their own features.

However, it might not be what fans of their earlier sound – or even just ‘Hypa Hypa’ – are expecting. This is their 6th album, and it appears Germany have been keeping them a secret since they formed in 2010.

On 12 February 2020, the band announced through their social media appearances that the previous singer "Sushi" would be leaving the band. When all is said and done, as the last few notes of the outro ‘Neon’ fade out, what you get is an album that would be good to play at both a nightclub at 2am, as well as in a field in Derbyshire at a certain metal festival. In the midst of all this international/interplanetary genre exploration, there are two tracks that go back to their older electronic metalcore sound. huge breakdowns, brilliant pop choruses, modern and old-school electro, metalcore riffs, and a large dose of escapist fun. It’s very difficult to decipher if this is another intentional choice to mock the state of the alternative scene thanks to the likes of MGK or they really sat down and unanimously agreed this was worth adding to the tracklist.

The album, We Are the Mess, was released on 10 January 2014 via Redfield Records and Warner Music Japan. Set this song as your wake-up alarm and you’ll be ready to punch on with anyone/everyone that gets in your way in the minutes that follow. It’s the same with Pump It, and We Got The Moves, and Arrow Of Love; it’s the work of a joke band where any of hint of a pejorative in such a sentiment has been acid-washed right off, and that’s where a lot of the fun comes from.
