I feel confident saying the projection and longevity are better than the OG, but maybe that's just my poor memory. The top is a nice dose of tobacco leaf and cypress, the heart brings the jasmine undertones so prevalent in this one with violet and a clean, zesty bergamot.

When I was a kid in Brazil, we had this "Mate Leão" tea (today it's owned by Coca-Cola), very popular late afternoon drink, that was delicious, warm and obscenely cheap. Notice how the reviews changed from “average/good” to “masterpiece” after it ceased production a few years ago. A shame that this fragrance always gets canned against its predecessors based on what is currently being produced because the first release was masculine, original and daring while pleasing the masses at the same time. On the skin last quite a bit, maybe a few hours due to the reformulations instead I recommend it to be sprayed on clothes.

If only it had projected better, I'd have surely lived out my fantasy, surrounded by Spanish ladies. It's like a opening up a bag of high quality black tea leaves, while enjoying the scent of an unlit cigar, all the while nursing a cup of chai. Even though it has tobacco in the notes, don't worry its not overwhelming like tom ford tobacco vanille.

Very delicious spice demi-sweet fragrance, with solid masculine vibe, but I can see a confident and assertive woman wearing it. It's fresh and woody, but not fresh enough to be used in summer or spicy enough to be used in winter, so its best settings are spring and fall and the office.Whoever is the genius in Gucci who decided to discontinue the only good mens fragrance in their line has an IQ of a rock. I believe the most similar fragrances I’ve smelled to this are women’s fragrances from around the same period (‘01-‘10).

of the Telecommunications Act stipulates that the use of cookies - with exceptions - is only permitted if the user in question is given clear and complete information, and has given permission. The actor James Franco, in James Dean style passes through an apartment saying lyrics of the famous song by Bryan Ferry-a \"Slave to Love\" to his girlfriend.I think this thread is one of MANY examples of what happens when a fragrance gets discontinued, whether that fragrance is good or otherwise. Bought a decant of this a while back, and I was waiting for the colder weather to come around for wearings. The beautiful glass and magnetic cap, the subtle nuances of the lettering and minimalist design emanate class and refinement of days gone by.

It's effectively a "very light" skin-scent, after the below average projection of the first hour or two! What sets this fragrance apart is its perfect balance – it's neither too overpowering nor too subtle, making it suitable for various occasions. As time goes by, when it starts to dry you will detect a leathery smell and the smoke still on as the perfume last on my skins for quite 5hrs. At the base the black tea is still there i do get a hint of tobacco i dont know about the olive tree or myrrh as i dont know whats the smell of myrrh the musk barely noticable.

Longevity is poor however, even if you purchase the original version from the time it has been initially released. Four years after Gucci Pour Homme, Gucci launched Gucci Pour Homme II, created by Karine Dubreuil just like the first one.
