Later, when Lord Zedd took over from Rita and sent his Pirantishead monster to Earth, Dragonzord was corrupted by the creature, who froze four of the Dinozords and turned Dragonzord and the Tyrannosaurus Dinozord against the Power Rangers. The Rangers were able to regain control of Dragonzord, however Tommy was forced to return it to the sea to protect it after the other Dinozords were destroyed by Zedd. While it is goofy and may fall over, the Mega Dragonzord is still impressive and large, but not as impressive and large as... Due to Tommy's continued presence when Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers adapted " Dairanger" footage, the Dragonzord saw continued use alongside the Thunder Megazord, although its use was often limited by reason of Tommy's continuously-draining powers. In actuality, as they originated from different series, the Dragonzord was never directly depicted alongside the Thunder Megazord or any Monster that had originated from Dairanger, forcing constant splicing between Zyuranger and Dairanger footage to compensate. Additionally, the Dragonzord could no longer combine with any other Zords, as the Thunderzords were incompatible with it.

Since the White Tigerzord was the first Thunderzord to appear in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the show referred to it as the White Tiger Thunderzord. This Zord was over 24 meters long and could travel at 185 kilometers per hour. Beyond its tiger mode, the Tigerzord could transform into a bipedal warrior mode to aid in battles. Akin to the Dragonzord, this zord also combined with the Thunderzord assault team to form the Mega Tigerzord. (Each sold separately. Subject to availability.)

The Dragonzord's design is similar to that of ' MechaGodzilla’, a monster from the Godzilla movie franchise. Its method of rising from the ocean is also reminiscent of Godzilla. The Dragonzord's chest piece is seen as part of the Ninja Ultrazord and Shogun Ultrazord formation in the same location it takes in the original Ultrazord, despite the fact the Dragonzord is not involved in either combination formation and the Zord itself not being available to the Rangers at the time. No explanation is given for this. While the Dragonzord was a powerful machine on its own, capable of firing missiles at its foes along with melee combat, its true power appeared once it combined with the other Zords. First, by combining with only the Mastodon, Triceratops, and Sabretooth Tiger Dinozords, the Dragonzord formed its battle mode. In the battle mode, the Dragonzord’s tail detached to help form a power staff. However, the greatest form came when the Dragonzord combined with the complete Megazord. Here, the two machines formed the Mega Dragonzord. Notably, one more combination was possible with the addition of Titanus, as mentioned above.

The set came with several weapons, such as the Titanium Power Sword, Mammoth Shield, Power Punch Missiles, and Thunder Cannons. As with other zords, the Megazord openly advertised its ability to combine with the Dragonzord and Titanus, enticing collectors to buy them all. The Megazord is the greatest of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers toys without a doubt. Let us know what your favorite Mighty Morphin Power Rangers toys were
